Billy Mays Dead At 50

According to the Tampa P.D., at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, Billy Mays wife, Deborah, found the well-known infomercial star unresponsive in their Tampa, Fl. home. There were no signs of foul play present so nothing suspicious is suspected. Mays autopsy is expected to be completed as of Monday afternoon.

His family have stated that they will not be making any statements in the coming days, as they need time to deal with the grief that has come upon them. Billy Mays, star of the infomercials for Orange Glo and OxiClean had plenty of fans, and the reaction to his death has been quite noticeable.

The Saturday before his death Mays was aboard a US Airways flight that blew its front tires and landed at Tampa airport, there was no casualties in the accident. It has not been stated whether or not this accident may have played a role in the death of Billy Mays.
